We’re delighted to have Qlik’s CEO Mike Capone LIVE on the show. Mike will talk about the challenges and opportunities that was the year 2020 and his forecasts and predictions for 2021. We will also have time at the end for questions and answers with Mike.

A Smörgåsbord of the biggest names in data & viz

In the second part of this episode we have 6 of the biggest names in the data and visualisation industry each doing a 10 minute lightening talk with a special raffle prize at the end of each talk.

  1. Donald Farmer, with a hugely influential career traced right back to the seminal days of QlikSense and PowerBI, some call him the father of modern BI. Donald will be raffling a bottle of his family owned Glenwyvis Gin at the end of his session.
  2. Nic Webster, Nic has cornered the market for Qlik, API and Analytics mashup development. He has generously donated a full year subscription the Websy Academy. make sure you register for the event to be in with a chance of winning.
  3. Scott Taylor, Scott will somehow can years of enthusiasm, jokes and data wisdom into a 10 minute lightening talk on the day. Scott will also be raffling an electronic version of his new book ‘Telling Your data Story’.
  4. Joe Warbington, Vizlib have been raising the bar for years with innovative and beautiful visualisations that bring our data to life. Joe has a ten minute slot to talk about data, visualisation and hopefully, what’s next on Vizlib’s todo list. He’s also going to be raffling a bag of Vizlib swag.   5. Rob O’Neill, Head of NHS’s Digital Academy. Earlier this year, Rob wowed us all with how the NHS are combining artificial intelligence and QlikSense to predict patient numbers and stay one step ahead of demand. Rob has 10 minutes to recap 2020 and tell us what we can expect from 2021. Rob will also be giving us an update on the amount raised so far for our charity DataKind UK.
  6. Susan Walsh, has been airing our dirty laundry for years and shaming us into getting our act together. In this session, Susan, tells us what COAT means and raffles a copy of her new e-book.
